Architecture of Inistioge

Inistioge village is identified as a National Monument due to its rich archaeological heritage and is protected under Section 12 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act, 1994.  There are a number of sites identified, such as the site of the motte, the market/ fair place and wayside cross.
